Vienna, Virginia - January 26, 2009 - AnviCom, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Command Information, the premier provider of next generation network services, today announced that it has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Transportation Command to provide modernization and lifecycle engineering support for a mission-critical supply chain system for the Army's Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC). The contract, awarded through the GSA Schedules program, is for one base year with four option years and is valued at $33 million, if all options are exercised.
