Jerry Edgerton
CEO
Jerry Edgerton is widely known and respected in the federal marketplace for his 30+ years of bringing advanced communications technology to government. He is a seasoned Washington, DC, veteran, possessing an intimate knowledge of the legislative and regulatory processes, as well as the ever-evolving political landscape. He is skilled in the “ways of Washington,” ready to assist and advise in important objectives from developing Capitol Hill testimony to obtaining security clearances.
For nearly 20 years, Jerry skillfully led MCI/Verizon Business federal government sales unit, building it from the ground up into a $3 billion enterprise. He directed complex programs of national importance, including GSA's FTS2001 contract, and serviced nearly every federal agency and the California, Virginia and New York state governments.
Through Jerry’s efforts, managed networks for federal customers such as the U.S. Postal Service and the Department of Defense are unsurpassed in their reliability and innovative design. These solutions have set the standard in the federal marketplace for network performance – a standard that competitors continually attempt to emulate.
Bob Dowski
CFO | Executive Vice President Administration
Bob is the Chief Financial Officer | EVP of Administration for Command Information. He provides seasoned financial skills that are helping power Command Information as it charts a course toward greater growth and profitability. Responsible for the overall financial management of the company he oversees accounting, financial planning, treasury, investor relations, corporate and strategic development, human resources, facilities, IT, contracts and procurement.
Prior to joining Command Information Bob was the CFO with Allied Defense Group in which he was responsible for attempting the turn around of a public, small cap defense company. Prior to Allied Bob was the CFO for NeuStar, Inc where he helped take a spin out from Lockheed Martin Corp and create a 1.5B$ market cap data base services company.
Bob holds a Bachelor of Science degree with Distinction in Environmental Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Johnson Graduate School of Business at Cornell.
Scott Kaine
Executive Vice President
Prior to joining Command, Scott served as Executive Vice President for Siteworx, Inc., responsible for managing all aspects of this interactive design and application development company. Scott has also held executive-level positions with companies such as Symphony Consulting Group, Inc., VeriSign, Inc., Network Solutions, Inc., and MCI. He began his career as an Officer in the U.S. Army, focused on communications, logistics, and operations programs. Scott holds a BS in Computer Science Management from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY.
Jim Bartelloni
Vice President
Prior to Command, Bart operated as a high level consultant to Simigon, LTD. He successfully negotiated the sale of VTSG to Simigon LTD. His software company provided PC-Based weapons and sensor simulation for advanced tactics and procedures of next generation fighter aircraft both domestically and overseas. Before his entrepreneurial adventure with VTSG he was an accomplished Naval Aviator and Qualified Strike Lead in the F-14 A/B/D Tomcat. Bart holds a BS in Mathematics from the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, MD.
Chris O'Ferrell
Vice President Security Services
Prior to Joining Command, Chris served as CEO of Idealogica Inc., V.P of professional Services and Chief Science Officer at both MCI and Verizon and held additional executive level positions with NetSec, Predictive Systems, and Global Integrity. Chris has also held supporting positions at the FBI and Secret Service.
Chris has extensive experience in the ethical hacking arena, where he is skilled in the design, analysis and evaluation of hacker tools and technologies. His depth of knowledge of these offensive tools has positioned him as an industry expert. He has been featured in The Learning Channel’s movie “Hackers Outlaws and Angels”, several TechTV’s episodes on War Dialing and Wireless Security, and has had features about Hackers aired on The Discovery Channel, CNN, MSNBC, ABC World News, NBC Today Show, Fox as well as being placed on the Front Page of the Washington Post, N.Y. Times and many other publications world wide.
His name also appears on product patents ranging from Wireless Network Security to Application Security and was a contributing author to several books, white papers and study courses on Ethical hacking.
Chris is a Veteran of the U.S. Army Infantry and has attended College at Central Texas University and Strayer University.
Ira Gluck
Vice President, Client Services
Ira leads project teams in the delivery of consulting and application development initiatives for our clients, with an emphasis in media and communications. Prior to Command, Ira was the Director of Network Services and Web Marketing Director at XO Communications and previously Web Marketing Director at Concert Global Services. For the past fifteen years, Ira has worked at the crosshairs of web application development and end-user communications. He began his career as a consultant at KPMG Peat Marwick, focusing on the commercialization of space technologies. Ira holds a Bachelors degree in business from the University of Michigan, and a Masters in Information Systems from The George Washington University.
Doug Dangremond
Vice President of Business Development and Sales, Commercial and Service Provider
With over 20 years of telecommunications experience, Doug is currently responsible for leading the commercial and service provider market segments.
Prior to joining Command, Doug served as the Vice President of Advanced Services Development with an emphasis on Government Markets for NeuStar. In addition, he led the federal business unit for AT&T/SBC as Vice President of Federal Communications for 6 years. Doug began his career at Anixter International, a global leader in supply chain services, where for 14 years he held a variety of executive, directorial, and managerial roles.
Doug served for over 2 years on the advisory board for the Association for service disabled veterans and is an active member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) and Industry Advisory Counsel (IAC). Doug earned a degree in Public Administration and Management with a minor in Business Management from the University of Florida.
Stephen Oronte
CTO
Stephen Oronte joined Command Information in May 2006 as senior director for net-centric solutions. Initial net-centric services under his purview include America's first IPv6 training center, as well as research and development activities, client transition planning, and early IPv6 deployments.
Stephen joined Command Information from Canada-based Hexago Inc., one of the earliest IPv6 hardware providers, where as chief executive officer he worked globally with organizations including NTT, KDDI, AT&T, DISA and General Dynamics, to prepare for the IPv6 transition. As CEO of Hexago, Stephen worked directly with many of the major Asian telecommunications players as well as the most advanced network operators in the world.
Stephen has more than 20 years of business experience in early stage and established leading enterprise organizations. He helped create, and was CEO of Hexago Inc, recognized in 2004 as one of the "Top 100 companies to watch in 2005" by the Pulver 100, a compilation of the top privately held growth companies in the communications sector.
David Green
VP of R&D, Command Labs
David Green provides IPv6 net-centric solutions for customer’s operational challenges as the VP of R&D and head of Command Labs. Throughout his career he has researched applications for emerging network and wireless technologies to real world operational problems. Before joining Command, David was a site manager for SRI International and led the SRI IPv6 transition team that supported the Army and DISA. His team at SRI provided technical leadership for the Army’s IPv6 Center of Excellence at Fort Monmouth NJ, performed R&D on extending IPv6 to the battlefield, developed the DoD IPv6 Product Standard Profiles, and primarily authored the Army IPv6 Transition Plan. Prior to joining SRI he was a military officer and supervised the digital platoon exercises at the Army’s first battlefield networking exercise, Warrior Focus.
David is a member of the CTO Executive Committee of the IPv6 Forum, Transition Technology Director for the North American IPv6 Task Force, and the CTO of the Mid Atlantic IPv6 Task Force. His current R&D efforts at Command Labs focus on IPv6 deployment, distributed defense-in-depth security, asset tracking systems, and exploiting IPv6 for wireless sensor-actuator control systems.
David Kriegman
President, Federal Division
As the President of Command Information’s Federal division, David Kriegman is responsible for meeting the network-centric demands for the U.S. Government. Command Information, the leader in the next generation Internet marketplace, is backed principally by The Carlyle Group. Kriegman has 30 years of experience providing full information systems life cycle services and solutions to government and industry. His experience includes systems development and integration, network operations support, and project management. Prior to assuming this position, he was the Executive Vice President and COO of SRA where he oversaw all of SRA's businesses, projects, and contracts with government and industry clients.
Kriegman joined SRA in 1983 and has served in a variety of leadership positions. Most recently as COO, and prior to that as Senior Vice President and Director of SRA's Defense Sector, actively assisting the Department of Defense on the modernization of their systems. He has served as a project manager for several major system and software development projects. In 1991, he became deputy director of SRA's Software Development Group, responsible for software practitioners and software processes. He also led the formation of SRA's Software Engineering Process Group, chartered to improve SRA's software development maturity. Kriegman also led SRA's work for the U.S. Agency for International Development.
Kriegman began his career with the U.S. Bureau of the Census as a mathematical statistician, programmer, and section chief in the Statistical Methods Division. He is active in various industry associations including the Information Technology Association of America and the Professional Services Council, where he has served on their Board of Directors and Executive Committee. He is a past president of the Washington, D.C. Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Computer Chapter and past director of the IEEE National Capital Area Council.
John Mauthe
COO
As Chief Operating Officer of Command Federal, John Mauthé oversees the company’s day-to-day operations, programs, and contracts relating to government clients. He is responsible for growth, performance, and development of the major IT support and eBusiness programs with clients in the Federal space.
Before joining Command Federal, John was with Defense Information Systems Agency where he served as Deputy Director of the Joint Electronic Commerce Program Office, overseeing such projects as the Defense eBusiness Exchange, Electronic Document Access, and Electronic Portal Access. Additionally, he served as the Vice Commander of DISA Western Hemisphere, the Defense Department’s enterprise computing organization.
His more than 35 years of government service and support include a distinguished Navy Career spanning 30 years in which he achieved the rank of Captain. John holds his BS from the Naval Academy and MA from both Central Michigan University and the Naval War College.
